Hi! I’m Mohsen, I graduated from NC State in 2020 and 2021 with my bachelors and masters in Nuclear Engineering. I am a career-change medical applicant, and I am currently applying to medical schools to fulfil my life’s passion of service through medicine. I am an active community member and founded, worked, and volunteered for several local and national organizations including the Islamic Association of Raleigh, The Lighthouse Project, Helping Hand for Relief and Development. I was blessed to be heavily involved in covid testing when the pandemic started as I helped in local testing and had the opportunity to start a medical covid testing company called CovClinic in Nevada and California. I currently work in Premier Health Center as a medical assistant with Dr. Akhtar, and have also amassed research experience working in different labs throughout my undergraduate and graduate career. Being a first generation immigrant and college student, I hope to lend a helping hand to refugees interested in the medical field and help them pursue their dreams of becoming medical doctors by sharing my journey, experiences, and connections with them!
